From the moment we break ground to the moment we perform our final inspection, we follow a strict quality control system to ensure that each home we build meets our exacting standards. However, we understand that imperfections can occur during the construction process. That’s why we offer a robust home warranty with every purchase of a Windsor Built home.

It’s also important that you maintain all aspects of your home, from changing the air filters to winterizing your home to caring for your lawn and landscaping. Before you complete the form below, please review the following issues, which are not covered under the warranty. All warranties are non-transferrable to new owners.

Issues Not Covered by Home Warranty

Below are several of the most commonly requested maintenance items that are NOT covered by your home warranty

  • General health of trees, shrubs and other landscaping features
  • Cracks in concrete driveways and walkways
  • Nailpops and imperfections or damage to sheetrock

  • There is no warranty on landscaping
  • There is no warranty on concrete
  • Standing water less than 48 hours after rain
    • Water will stand in swales during and immediately after rain
  • Hardwood floor vibration
  • Soft ground in swales
  • Scratches on hardwood
  • Chips and scratches on countertops
  • Chips and scratches on cabinetry
  • Scratches or tears in vinyl flooring
  • Dead grass or yard washouts
  • Water intrusions or foundation problems
    • When determined due to grade alterations or lack of landscape maintenance
  • Maintenance of all caulking
  • Maintenance of all tile grout
  • Visible seams, wear marks or fading of carpet
  • Replacement of bushes after closing
  • Paint touch-ups, nail pops, cracks in caulking
  • Cabinet doors not matching exactly
  • Towel bars and closet shelving pulled from wall
  • Trapped moisture or discolored concrete

    You must be present at the time of maintenance or grant permission for the serviceman to enter your home. Work will be completed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
