It’s no secret that Arden is one of the fastest growing communities in western North Carolina.  This growth has led to new businesses big and small coming to the area.  One of our favorites is Ivory Road.  The new coffee shop and bakery has filled a void by providing residents a much needed local coffee shop.  No neighborhood is complete without a good coffee shop and now we have one.dsc00986

Opening in August, IvoryRoad has created a local coffee shop and bakery that focuses on homemade treats and friendly service.  Converted from an old home built on Brevard Rd, this rustic hidden gem provides the comfortable environment for a relaxing book or a place for moms to gather with friends.  The Saturday Afternoon Tea begins at 2pm and offers organic teas and coffees with scones, homemade jams and finger sandwiches.  You may want to call or email in advance to make sure you get a spot.  Ivory Road also offers a private room for meetings whether business or social.

Mallard Run and Ivory Road are both two new additions to the Arden Community and look to make this already promising area even better.  During the month of November, if you mention that you live in Mallard Run, you will receive 10% off your first order.  So take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and have a nice cup of coffee and some homemade goodies.  You will be glad you did.
